Jadhavgad Fort - A Heritage Hotel
How to reach Jadhavgad Fort
From Mumbai: After exiting the Mumbai-Pune expressway you will end on the Pune-Satara bypass Road (Mumbai-Bangalore Highway-NH4). Keep driving on the Pune – Satara road without taking any of the turn-offs toward Pune. Once you cross the Chandni-Chowk area, you will come across a new Flyover, which will take you to Satara (Bangalore) via Katraj Ghat. DON'T TAKE THIS FLYOVER. Keep on the left-side access road and continue on the bypass road. This road meets Katraj Bus Depot.
Turn right at this junction and immediately after turning right, there is a left turn, this is the Kondwa Road. Take this left and drive for 13 KM on this till you reach dead-end at the Phursungi (Pune)-Saswad Road. (At Khadi-Machine Chowk, a right turn leads to Saswad city directly, DON'T TAKE THIS RIGHT.) Instead reach Phursungi-Saswad Road , and then turn right. (Landmark – HP Petrol Pump).
Keep on this road as it climbs past the historical Dive Ghat. Three KM after the end of the ghat you will see signs toward Fort Jadhavgadh on your right. Take the right turn and come in for about a 1 KM. The Fort is on your left.
